Probably the cheapest way to fly to Madeira is into Funchal. You can get a nonstop flight from Boston, Mass, at this link-----> http://www.sata.pt/EUA/en/Home/
To go to other islands from there you have small planes and ferries. Hope you have a great trip!

I personally have gone to Palm Springs and to Phoenix/Scottsdale. Because this is the "high" season, the courses will be more expensive than in the summer, but there are websites that let you make next day reservations. There are also companies in both locations that will make hotel/golf reservations for you. Or, you can stay in smaller, less expensive hotels and then spend the extra monies on golf.

Are you on crack? Putin's a hard line, old school traditionalist, but please tell me what he would gain for Russia geo-politically, strategically, by invading freaking Portugal?

Oh wait...nothing. In other words, you asked a stupid question.

Anything built in 1951 is not consider historical,
therefore you have no problems to rehabilitate or
do any changes to the property.
when you say replace the roof, if you mean replace the tile
you don't need a permit, if you are altering the roof structure
then you need a permit.
it is not difficult to obtain, any way.

My dad and I like to look at properties over in Portugal all the time (he's originally from Portugal, the Azores actually). Search online for Portuguese Realtors - there are tons of them. Good luck!

Hi
There is no problem with being black. There's a lot of black people living in Portugal. Our ex-colonies where Angola and Mozambique so there are a lot of Black people around were.
Portuguese are friendly. If you have any problems with your Portuguese don't worry. Even if we don't understand you we are always ready to help you or find someone that can help.
Now the question is were do you want to stay.
Big city or a smaller one. Country or beach.
Algarve is mostly beach.Alentejo it's a very quiet place.
There Porto and Lisbon that are two big cities.
As someone said, Sintra and it is an amazing and beautiful city.
I love Aveiro and Porto. Porto is just gorgeous.
The airport are in Lisbon, Faro and Porto. If it will help you decide.
I live in Alcobaça. It's most and historical city. And Nazaré is a beach close that as a lot of history and its a beautiful place too with unique people.

You have here some picks if you like to see it http://community.tyrashow.com/group/portugal?xg_source=activity

If I was you I would go to Sintra, Porto (Oporto) or Aveiro

I hope that this help you
If you need something just say.
